Reliable micromechanical interlocking of mating surfaces
One of the key aspects of mechanical connections is the shear load capacity. By introducing an interlocking component or surface between the interfaces, the shear strength and holding power of the connection are vastly increased.
The MicroLock technology can be used on both sides of a thin component or as a gripping surface on one side of a tool.

We offer the following MicroLock technologies:
MicroLock S1 for all steel and cast iron counterparts
MicroLock S2 for aluminium, composite and polymer counterparts
The TRD MicroLock surface technology is based on microspikes that engage with the mating surfaces, forming an incredibly strong mechanical interlocking effect.
